Hopefully, everything on your Wedding Day will run as expected with no unwanted surprises. However, as the saying goes ‘hope for the best, prepare for the worst’.

With that in mind it is a good idea to make up an emergency kit and ask someone to hold it for you throughout the day. Our suggestion for the kit at your destination wedding in Cyprus would be:

• Antacids or Imodium: for indigestion or diarrhoea
• Anti-histamine: in an unknown country you may develop allergy symptoms or a insect bite
• Painkillers: for a headache
• Bottle of Water: we recommend freezing a bottle, remove some of the water before you put it in the freezer, this can act as an ice pack or just a cooling drink
• Deodorant or Perfume; a Bride should smell wonderful all day

• Hair Brush and hair grips: to neaten your hairstyle
• Mints: sore throats or tickles may happen when you are talking to your guests all day.
• Nail File: a small split in your nails needn’t become a nuisance.
• Paper fan: excellent for when the heat of the day becomes too much
• Plasters: if you develop a blister or get a cut, you don’t want to bleed on your bridal gown

• Spare Lipstick and Mascara: for touch ups throughout the wedding day.
• Safety Pins: great for emergency fixes or to create a bustle on your wedding dress if needed
• Travel pack of baby wipes: for any small spills, these even remove blood from a wedding dress if used immediately.
• Tissues: for tears or sneezes
