While you may have celebrated prior to your visit to Cyprus it is a lovely idea to spend one day before your wedding with your family and friends. Think of the day as a girl’s day out or boy’s adventure!
There are so many options to suit all kinds of styles, ages and budgets, available. Just a few suggestions:
A visit to one of the beaches – how about Latchi? Where you can play games, hire a boat and have lunch at a port side fish restaurant. Or a visit to Aphrodite’s rock, birth place of the goddess of love, for snorkelling and swimming.
A spa day – many of the hotels offer massages, steam rooms and other therapies. There are also dedicated spa destinations such as Ayii Anargyri and Aphrodite Hills.
Afternoon Tea – some of the 5 star hotels offer a traditional, English, afternoon tea e.g. The Elysium in Paphos, The Amara in Limassol
Jeep Safari tour – these can take you to the Troodos mountains, Lara Beach on the Akamas or to visit the Venetian Bridges.
A day at the water park – there is one in Paphos, One in Limassol and one in Ayia Napa
A wine tour – Paphos region is full of vineyards and wineries, visit a few for wine tasting and arrange a lunch in one of the local villages.
A visit to Aphrodite’s Rock Micro Brewery – take a tour of the brewery, drink a taster of their beers and wines and have a meal.
Hire a beach buggy – spend a day off roading and visit some of the beautiful countryside, villages or beaches.
A visit to Pafos Zoo – with Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Tortoises, and a family friendly bird show.
A boat trip –a trip on a modern yacht or even Pirate ship is possible, you may just want a cruise with music and a BBQ or to go further afield to The Blue Lagoon for swimming and snorkelling.
Mini Golf – Paphos has a great mini golf course. You can also play Foot Golf at Mario's Golf Park in Chloraka.
